Women in Aviation Tampa Bay Chapter

The Tampa Bay Chapter of Women in Aviation, International is committed to creating awareness of the different opportunities in Aviation and bringing this to the young people in the Tampa Bay community. Our biggest annual event is Girls in Aviation Day during which young people have the chance to meet people working in aviation’s many fields. We have monthly events where members have a chance to meet each other and to learn about things such as drone operations, airport operations, and local college/technical school opportunities. Our Chapter has raised money for scholarships and the opportunity to send our officers to the annual WAI conference. There are many volunteer opportunities with our Chapter.
