Mission Statement
Helping breast cancer survivors and the medical professionals who treat them - with education, garments, nutrition and support along their breast cancer journey.
Description
BFRIN began in 2008 and has been helping breast cancer survivors and women with asymmetrical breasts with education, garments, nutrition and support throughout their journey. We aim to help women beyond the greater Philadelphia area, especially those in underserved communities who do not have access to the custom breast prosthetic services we provide. Over the years, we have helped thousands of women and their families, networked with dozens of hospitals and hundreds of doctors to achieve our goals which help women during a life-changing experience. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have also began a food pantry to help decrease food insecurity in our community, with a focus on nutritious foods for all people.
