Compassus Hospice

I took care of my mother who suffered from Alzheimer's and Diabetes for 5 years before she had to go to an Assisted Living facility. While she was there, I saw that sometimes the family/friends of some of the residents didn't or couldn't visit due to various circumstances and saw some of the residents reactions. My heart went out to them. That's when I decided I wanted to become more involved in helping seniors in any way I could. 2 years after the passing of my mother, I called Compassus to ask about being a volunteer and I have been volunteering with Compassus going on 5 years as a Patient Volunteer and Administrative Volunteer. Compassus lives up to it's name (Latin for compassion). The nurses, HHA's, Social Workers, Marketing staff and administrative staff are wonderful with the patients, employees and volunteers as they go above and beyond assisting in any way they can. They care! I HIGHLY recommend Compassus to anyone who is looking for a caring and great hospice org.

I would highly recommend you to somebody because Hospice is always needing volunteers & you all need a massage I believe with everything you do daily for all of these sick people can take a toll on your body. Therefore you need to relax & let people bless all of you
