KC Farm School at Gibbs Road empowers individuals of all ages, ancestries, and abilities through on-farm, hands-on experiences and vocational education connecting them to the land and soil, food, community, and opportunity.
KC Farm School at Gibbs Road was founded in 2018. We grow food using regenerative agriculture practices on 14 urban acres in the heart of Kansas City, Kansas. We offer on-farm, hands-on opportunities for all ages, ancestries and abilities through programming, field trips and volunteerism. We offer our food through an on-farm farmers market, a community supported agriculture (CSA) program, wholesale and through direct donation and gleaning. All of our food and programming are always "Pay What You're Able" because when we all share what we have, we can all have what we need. Volunteers fuel our mission by sharing skill, time and talent.
