To provide access to fresh produce, to educate the community about gardening and good nutrition, and to create a safe gathering place.
BUG was founded in 2012 and ever since has grown tremendously. Standing at 2.5 acres on one of the busiest streets of Third Ward in Houston, Texas there are a large variety of fruits and veggies. BUG not only provides free produce to the community, but we also educate and create opportunities for community member.
