Days: Sunday afternoons Frequency: Serve once per month Time: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM Season: Year-round Training: Provided Age: All ages (under 18 must be with an adult) Teams serve the homeless and our recently housed clients by building relationships while delivering food, supplies and hope. The goal is to connect heart-to-heart with our neighbors experiencing homelessness and identify people wanting housing assistance. Volunteers typically serve once a month on the same route team and the routes take an average of 4 hours depending on the itinerary and people seen.

Days: Tuesday - Saturday Time: 9:30 am-2 pm or 2 pm- 6:30pm. Season: Year round Training: Provided Age: 18+ (Perfect for retirees) Volunteers will be greeting customers when they arrive in the store, managing the different departments and keeping them stocked. Helping with the inventory in the back of the store and also sorting donations as they come in. Volunteers can commit to volunteer for 1-2 shifts per week or as often as you would like.

Days: Monday - Thursday Frequency: Serve once or twice per week Time: 11:45 AM - 4:15 PM Season: Year-round Training: Provided Age: 18+ (Perfect for retirees) Teams serve the homeless by building relationships, assisting clients with food, survival supplies, referrals, and hope. Spending time with people, listening, and treating them with dignity and respect is one of the most meaningful things you can do for Joppa and those we serve. The goal is to connect with our neighbors experiencing homelessness, help them survive the elements and identify people wanting housing assistance. Volunteers usually commit to serving 5 hours once or twice a week on the same day.
