Pikes Peak CERT is committed to: • Educate our neighbors about emergency preparedness, response, and recovery through community outreach • Support the Office of Emergency Management and other first responders in emergency activations and exercises • Prepare for emergencies through training and individual readiness
Description
Pikes Peak CERT aspires to build a community better prepared for disasters, and to provide exemplary volunteer support for the region. Its volunteer members participate in public education and outreach activities, provide support to community events, and respond to assist the Pikes Peak Office of Emergency Management in disaster activations. Volunteers also attend regular training and exercises for personal and neighborhood readiness.
