Mission Statement

Every year, abused, abandoned and neglected children are put into the foster care system or worse end up on the streets as part of our homeless population or more egregiously, end up in prison. Camp for Change creates hope, the ability to trust, enables the willingness to love and improves self-image. Life is an uphill battle for these at risk youth. Camp for Change will help change their lives--forever. Our mission is to break the cycle of abuse, incarceration and welfare dependence. Camp for Change provides these abused children an opportunity to trust, to love, to hope and to aspire to be successful in life. Through RFK, Boulder and TRAC, Boulder the cycle of rejection and failure can be broken and their lives, in a few days, can go from Heartbreak to Hope.
