Mission Statement

Reed's staff strives to be ever vigilant in ensuring that students from all racial, ethnic, socio-economic, language and challenged groups receive consistent messages of high expectations. Students are given every opportunity to succeed in the classroom through equitable instruction and assessment practices. Do you have a special skill, hobby or interest you'd like to share and teach to our primary students? Reed Elementary seeks community volunteers for after-school-programming. Your commitment is two days a week either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Your benefits include making a huge difference in a young persons life, spark a life long learning journey for our most valuable resource, and become a leader in your community. Volunteer Ideas: Cooking, drawing, movement, exercise, sport, reading, media, crocheting, just to name a few.
