Greetings! Our pet therapy program is in need of assistance as it has expanded significantly. Patients and families greatly appreciate visits from pets, bringing joy to their faces. Consider joining our Devotion family to bring smiles to our patients during this stage of life. Your pet must be vaccinated and certified as a therapy animal. Additionally, you will need to undergo our onboarding process, which includes background checks, compliance forms, TB screening, and a brief orientation. We are seeking volunteers to dedicate a few hours of their time to accompany and assist families in need. These families require someone to stay with their loved ones while they attend to various tasks such as errands, medical appointments, veterinary visits, or simply enjoying some time in a park. Considering that most families have limited financial resources and cannot afford professional caregivers, we rely on the generosity of volunteers who can offer support during critical moments for both patients and their families. It's similar to spending time with your own grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, or sibling. Please note that volunteers are not expected to perform any clinical duties. Rest assured, I will be there to guide you every step of the way.

Join our Devotion family and make a difference in the lives of bereaved families. Each week, volunteers will be provided with a list of families to reach out to and offer support. Through training, you will be equipped to assist those who have lost a loved one. Your contribution to our hospice program is invaluable.
