In order to develop sustainable evidence-based local community interventions that directly address root causes and sustain local communities, the local youth have to be empowered to take action for local communities.
Inspire Community Network Foundation (ICON) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that empowers local youth to research, identify local community-specific issues, and develop and implement evidence-based solutions that respond directly to the root cause.
ICON implements evidence-based interventions that dismantle root causes of intergenerational poverty, minority and ethnic discrimination, social-economic, gender, and educational inequalitie s in twenty states; Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Washington DC, West Virginia.
