This volunteer role is not specific to the address of the office. This would be someone who would visit our patients that lack family or friends and would appreciate company. Or, be an addition to family and friends. Someone who enjoys spending time with the elderly. We care for a diverse population in various environments (home, long term care facilities, etc).. We have multiple opportunities. This volunteer would need to pass a background check, TB screening, etc.

We are looking for some talented people who love to sew! Many hospice patients get very cold and lonely. Those with dementia need items to keep them occupied in their frustrated moments. We need YOU to help us. Do you enjoy sewing/knitting? Do you have a group that gets together to sew/knit? We need you! Please apply to bring some light and comfort to the lovely people on hospice. What's Required: -Anyone visiting with patients needs to complete our onboarding tasks. All training offered online! Deliver prayer shaws, blankets, vests, etc. to lonely folks that would appreciate your smile. -Anyone sewing at home or in a group that are not physically seeing patients are not required to onboard.
