At Evolving to Independence, our mission is to promote wellness, self-advocacy and opportunities to become independent for at-risk young adults in the Charlotte area; in efforts to decrease the percentage of young adults ending up homeless or involved with the criminal justice system by teaching life skills through peer and community interactions.
We are a starting up nonprofit in the Charlotte area. Our vision is a world in which at-risk youth have a fighting chance by being provided with opportunities they might not have had growing up. Through this we are trying to gain supports in the community to help develop these plans into action.
