Teen Green Team volunteers help Children’s Garden staff with various hands-on gardening projects to improve and maintain our learning landscape at the Children’s Garden located in the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Additionally, teens assist us in setting up our family drop-in program and other public events that are held in the Children's Garden. This is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in the natural world, plants, illustration, ecology, botany, horticulture, and of course, gardens, to volunteer their time at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Location: The Children’s Garden which is located within the San Francisco Botanical Garden Schedule and Time Commitment: Join us on one or many Saturdays from 10 am-1 pm. Please note that there are no programs on holidays, and you may sign up for as many volunteer assignments as you wish. 2023 Session: Ends 12/16/23 Requirements: No experience is necessary to volunteer. This is an opportunity to learn in the Garden while helping us take care of this important local learning environment! All volunteers under 18 must submit a signed hardcopy or electronic version of the minor consent & emergency contact form. Ages 12 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
