Welcome to our volunteer program! We are grateful for your interest in giving back to your community and helping those in need. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives. We need as many volunteers as possible to help distribute food to the community. Every volunteer experience is a bit different. Here are some things you might do as a volunteer: Sort and pack food: You can keep the shelves stocked by assembling food boxes for distribution. Distribution: You will help distribute the food to individuals in a friendly manner. Set up and Breakdown: You will help set up the food to be distributed and clean up after the event ends. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to working with you to make a difference in our community. Thank you for being so willing to lend a helping hand!

The hybrid role is located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, but there is flexibility for some remote work. The volunteer engagement intern will report to the Volunteer Coordinator and work closely with other team members. Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and planning skills with a strong attention to detail Passionate and dedicated to a career in non-profit management or related field Ability to work well within a team and independently Experience engaging and coordinating volunteers preferred Proficiency in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Drive Experience with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and CRM systems preferred Must be available to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week Must be available to work some evenings and weekends when necessary High school diploma or equivalent required.
