Mission Statement

The Statewide VISTA Program is an umbrella project, with individual VISTAplacements in public and non-profit organizations throughout Washington State to address unmet community needs and provide meaningful service experiences.

Description

The Statewide VISTA program partners with non-profit and public agencies in Vancouver and throughout Washington State to address unmet community needs and provide meaningful service experiences. Members are placed individually in YWCAs, health districts, public housing authorities, and grassroots community organizations. Vista members receive an extralayer of supportive services including quartely trainings, an annual teambuilding retreat, advise, and problem-solving.
