We are building a marketing team that will include a strategist for non-profit and community programming and a coordinator for content and analytics (including Google Adwords). The team is also in need of copywriters and graphic designers (informal experience with Canva is fine). The team will collaborate on events like Poetry Slams, sponsorships for Rent for Moms, and Dismantling Racism (or From Allies to Accomplices). Tasks include: Researching the current marketing landscape, trends, and customer behaviors to assist in developing effective marketing strategies for events. Managing organizational components and scheduling/planning components of marketing for different events. Coordinating marketing needs and the implementation of marketing campaigns/strategies for different events. Planning, scheduling, and developing social media content which meets company goals surrounding engagement, marketing, etc. Researching/creating strategies to achieve targets, maintaining up-to-date social media content, and using analytics to assess successfulness of strategies in meeting goals. Writing content, creating graphics, and using social media and other media to create content and posts for wider engagement.

Description: Experience not necessarily needed! Support the non-profit and specific programs using the Grant Boilerplate document to coordinate and write grant proposals and letters of interest. Grant writers will join a team of volunteers who work together on first drafts, and then will work with the Admin & Executive teams to review and revise draft documents in order to finalize submissions. Tasks include: Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization. Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies. Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization. Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval. Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals. Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders. Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.

This includes monitoring and encouraging the group to follow the community agreements, answering questions and providing support to members, and facilitating discussions and interactions between members. The moderator's role is to ensure that the group remains a brave space for all members to learn and grow in their anti-racism work, and to help resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise according to the community agreements.
