Development Alert is looking for SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS passionate about supporting charity activities to become our Social Media Volunteers to spread awareness about our work and help the organization connect with huge audience relevant to support it's goals. Social Media Marketing Volunteer This is a volunteer position - unpaid. Main purpose of the role The role of the Social Media Marketing Volunteer will be to assist in promoting Development Alert’s activities and to raise awareness about the organization using social media platforms. Person specification: This role would suit someone who: Experienced in marketing and social media (social media influencer) Is an excellent communicator Is able to write clearly, accurately and concisely Can be flexible with their time: Experience in advertising/marketing, communications, journalism, creative writing, graphic design, video, editing, animation and social media Experience in generating & delivering social media content and across various channels (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) Experience with animation, story boarding and comedic videos Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) Creating content for social media posts. Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner. The role Developing Development Alert’s social media presence with a particular focus on: Help generate, edit, publish and share engaging content (e.g. photos, videos, info-graphics, animations and memes) Assist with marketing & strategy to develop brand awareness, like promotions Promote crowdfunding campaigns and encourage people to support the Charity’s campaigns Encouraging others to comment on our posts and share them Increase the numbers of people following our posts on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

Development Alert is running active fundraising campaigns on GIVENGAIN Website https://www.givengain.com/c/developmentalert/ and is looking for online Fundraisers who will plan and oversee campaigns and events to raise funds and drive up the organization's Donations. VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER ROLE: The Volunteer will ensure that campaign is effective by performing the following roles; Raising funds for the community water well project Sharing campaign link with wider audience through different channels but not limited to social media. Design promotional materials and increase awareness of the organizations work, goals, and financial needs. Development Alert an young Charity involved in Empowering Poor and Vulnerable communities on livelihoods improvement and environment conservation in Uganda is looking for highly experienced professionals and well-wishers to join the organization's Advisory Board on Finance. These will ensure the organization raises funds for it's activities under the Four main thematic areas; Education, Access to Clean Water, Economic Empowerment and Environment Conservation. This is volunteer position is not paid PURPOSE OF ADVISORY POSITION The purpose of the Advisory Board on Finance is to raise money for the organization and it’s activities.
