Naked Whale Research (NaWhaRe) encourages individuals and marine researchers alike to actively take part in helping create public awareness concerning threats to the long-term survival of the Endangered Southern Resident killer whales, known as J, K, and L pods that frequent waters off the coastal Northwest.
Description
We strongly believe that further objective scientific data from the field is required to achieve a sustainable marine future for Endangered Southern Resident killer whales. The scientific process must engage the general public if it is to change the world. To that end, we involve people from all walks of life directly in this specific marine research.
