Description

The Police Athletic League has been actively helping inner city youth since the early 1900's. We have a small but vital PAL center operating in the San Castle Community in Lantana, Florida. Our main focus is to provide educational and recreational activities to youth ages 8 - 18 years of age. Assisting our youth with school work, homework assignments, and projects is one of our priorities. Many of our attendees are living in challenging circumstances at home, PAL provides a safe, nurturing environment where they can focus and receive the attention they need.
We also offer various sports and recreational activities, organized events, arts & crafts, computer skills, etc.
As a non-profit all of our programs are free to attendees. Each year, PBSO PAL runs a golf tournament and 5k walk/run to raise funds. 100% of funds raised at these events goes directly into the program.
