Mission Statement

Camp Kesem is a nonprofit that provides free summer camp to kids affected by a parent's cancer. We provide support to kids 6-18 who are going through a parent or guardian's cancer diagnosis.

Description

We began in 2000 at Stanford and now exist at 135 university chapters in the country. We rely on volunteers to staff our camps, including counselors, nurses, therapists, and photographers. Our flagship program is our overnight camp, which is 1 week per chapter in the summer. This is a time for kids to feel like normal kids again and have fun.
