Mission Statement

Windrose Learning is a Fort Wayne-based nonprofit organization that develops innovative programs offering career training and mentorship to disadvantaged young adults in our community. Our programs explore new, ever-evolving ways to engage and positively impact our students while helping them build and translate their skills toward personal, community and economic success. Through our programs, disadvantaged youth will develop the "soft skills"--such as resiliency, perseverance, time management, teamwork and creativity--that underpin success both in school as well as in life and work.

Description

Windrose Urban Farm is a Downtown Fort Wayne-based nonprofit organization focused on offering gainful employment to individuals with employment barriers while growing high quality food and garden products. We provide an opportunity that we thought the community could benefit from through mentorship and career training for disadvantaged youth and young adults, exploring new, ever-evolving ways to engage and positively impact their lives.
