They do not train their volunteers effectively and treat them poorly when they do not perform something they were not educated on. The attitude by the nursing staff towards the volunteers is toxic. No volunteer should be treated with such disdain. We did not got to med school, we only had limited training, and no one explains the detailed policies of each floor to us. If you wish to volunteer in the health care community, your service will be much greater appreciated elsewhere.
