Our mediators are vital to the success of our program in helping resolve community and domestic disputes, offering citizens in Southeast Oklahoma the opportunity to restore peace and trust.
In mediation, a neutral third party helps those in conflict define issues, explore solutions, and reach practical workable, and mutually satisfactory agreements. Mediation seeks to prevent conflicts from escalating, saving everyone involved the time and expense of going to court.
Early Settlement mediators are local community volunteers who have been through the 20-hour basic civil mediation training with additional advanced trainings available for the other types of mediation Early Settlement offers.
