I had a wonderful opportunity to intern with California Senator Brian Dahle who represents District 1. It was during my internship where I learned about this unique opportunity to volunteer with SM Fire in Redding CA. While I had no experience with gathering statistics and providing basic logistical support… hopefully their efforts will flourish in other counties. They helped me with every step of the way from being professional to an area office that had a small crew of humble analysts. Thank you for making my summer meaningful and fun!

Santa Muerte Fire is a small department that’s been willing and able to teach volunteers on the fire service. Chief Jackson has been instrumental in our growth. It’s been a great opportunity so far and looking forward to learning more as the years pass.
