Location: Remote Commitment: 1 Year (with potential to extend) Time Commitment: Flexible, approximately 5-10 hours per week About IAmCollegeLife: IAmCollegeLife is a dynamic social club dedicated to empowering autistic individuals to achieve independence in college, work, and home life. Through expert resources, training, and a supportive community, we help individuals with autism thrive in every aspect of their lives. Our mission is to provide the tools and resources necessary for autistic individuals to succeed in their educational and professional journeys, as well as in social and home environments. Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our team for a one-year commitment. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to our cause and mission and possesses the skills to manage our social media platforms while helping to grow and engage our community. You will play a key role in increasing awareness of our fundraising campaigns and driving engagement to support our mission. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to raise awareness about IAmCollegeLife and its initiatives. Content Creation: Design and post engaging content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and event updates. This will include both organic content and promotional material for our fundraising campaigns. Fundraising Promotion: Assist in creating creative campaigns for fundraising efforts and ensure they are marketed effectively across all social media channels. Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers to build a positive online community around IAmCollegeLife. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor the performance of social media campaigns, analyze data, and provide reports on engagement and campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Fundraiser Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and other team members to align social media efforts with fundraising campaigns and events. Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, applying innovative ideas to keep our content fresh and engaging. Qualifications: Strong passion for IAmCollegeLife’s mission and commitment to supporting autistic individuals. Proven experience in managing social media accounts and content creation (preferably for nonprofits or causes). Creative mindset with the ability to create visually engaging and shareable content. Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, etc.) and basic graphic design skills. Excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to craft messages that resonate with our audience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Our mission is to make sure that every autistic individual has access to the support they need to succeed in their education, career, and personal development. Role Overview: We are looking for a Volunteer Partnership Specialist who is passionate about IAmCollegeLife's mission and committed to securing new opportunities to support our programs and services. This volunteer will be responsible for researching and securing funding opportunities and in-kind donations from foundations, corporations, and government sources. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with these organizations to ensure continued support for our cause. Key Responsibilities: Research Funding Opportunities: Identify and research potential funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and in-kind contributions from foundations, corporations, and government sources. Outreach and Relationship Building: Reach out to prospective funders and partners through calls, emails, and other communications to secure funding or free resources. Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. Proposal Writing: Assist in writing proposals and requests for funding, outlining our mission, goals, and impact. Craft clear, compelling narratives that demonstrate the importance of supporting IAmCollegeLife's programs. Track and Report: Keep track of funding opportunities, applications, and communications with partners. Provide regular reports on the status of partnerships and funding requests, ensuring transparency and accountability. Partnership Strategy: Help develop and implement strategies for building long-term partnerships with corporations, foundations, and government entities to support IAmCollegeLife's mission. Collaboration: Work closely with the team to align partnership efforts with overall organizational goals, including fundraising campaigns and program expansion. Qualifications: Strong passion for IAmCollegeLife’s mission and a commitment to supporting autistic individuals. Proven experience or interest in researching and securing funding from foundations, corporations, and government sources. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and engage with external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling proposals and outreach materials. Knowledge of fundraising and partnership-building best practices is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate will be a creative, self-motivated, and organized individual with a genuine passion for IAmCollegeLife’s mission. As the Fundraiser Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and leading our fundraising efforts, developing innovative strategies, and marketing our fundraising campaigns to ensure they are successful in supporting our programs and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Fundraiser Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of IAmCollegeLife’s fundraising initiatives, from planning to execution. Community Engagement: Engage with current and potential donors, volunteers, and partners to build relationships and inspire participation in our fundraising efforts. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor fundraising progress, track donations, and report on the success of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future events. Collaboration: Work closely with the IAmCollegeLife team to align fundraising efforts with our overall mission and goals. Qualifications: Strong passion for the mission of IAmCollegeLife and a commitment to our cause of supporting autistic individuals. Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, or marketing (preferably in a non-profit environment). Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to generate new fundraising ideas. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire others. Proficient in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and other online fundraising platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-driven attitude.
