Seattle Police Department - Crime Survivor Service

Description

Crime Survivor Services started 22 years ago as a project of the Seattle Junior League. They identified that the needs of victims and survivors of violent crimes were not being recognized and addressed in the criminal justice system, nor were these individuals supported during this critical time. Currently, the Crime Survivor Services Unit involves community members as volunteers, interns and AmeriCorps members in two distinct ways.
