The mission of the Newberry Opera House is to enhance the economic and cultural development of Newberry County and the Midlands through the window of the arts in concert with educational opportunities for all.

Description

The Newberry Opera House is a historic performing arts theatre in the midlands of South Carolina, halfway between Columbia, SC and Greenville, SC on I-26. The Opera House hosts over 250 events a year: Country, Folk, Doo-Wop, Oldies, Beach, Opera, Classical, Chamber, R&B, Comedy, Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Celtic, International, Acrobats, Elvis Tribute Artists, Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist, World Music, Broadway, Big Band, Bluegrass, Comedy, Choral, Drama, Speakers, Book Readings, and much more.
