Mission Statement

Rebuilding Together NYC (RT NYC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income New Yorkers. Together we transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing our communities, particularly for the elderly, disabled, families with children, veterans, and survivors of natural disasters. We also revitalize neighborhoods by renovating nonprofit community centers and providing security lighting. All our services are provided at no cost to our homeowners and community members.

Description

We are an organization that relies on a volunteer base that is team oriented and has a strong work ethic, in addition to construction experience. This opportunity is a great way to get out of the house, share your skills and expertise, meet new people and see a different part of New York on every project.

Get a chance to help rebuild homes for low-income families, and make a difference in the community.

Rebuilding Together is looking for leaders, with an interest in civic engagement, for renovation projects in all five boroughs on weekdays and occasional Saturdays.
