Mission Statement

Calgary Youth Justice Society engages communities with young people to foster choices and opportunities that build upon their strengths, diverting them from crime.

Description

Calgary Youth Justice Society has a 25-year history of helping vulnerable youth find their way through challenging life circumstances and sometimes unhealthy choices that can hold them back from reaching their full potential. We believe that every young person belongs and has the potential to meaningfully contribute to our community. Our strengths-based approach with a focus on positive youth development builds protective factors and reduces risk factors in youth served. Programs center around a relentless pursuit of strengths in our youth, building positive relationships with caring adults and peers, as well as connecting them in a meaningful way to their community.
