Established 2021, the nonprofit organization was founded by a single mother and her son. J&S BROWN URBAN HOUSING DEVELOPERS for nonprofits has a passion to redevelop redline neighborhoods that are in poor conditions. Every state has a neighborhood like this, these neighborhoods have been forgotten. I lived in an underdeveloped Urban Neighborhood in Brooklyn NY, the schools were horrible, the crime was high. I believe if we help the "single mothers" in these redline neighborhoods, we can change to word "redline neighborhoods" to a safe and clean community. J&S Brown UHD, is a real estate developer structured under a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide transitional housing and life skill education for single mothers. Our goal is to purchase properties and redevelop them to begin our mission. The program is a two years plan for the single mothers in the two years they will learn money management, parenting skills, job skills, a complete life skill plan. The intake application is setup to weed out applicants that doesn't meet our approval.
