Description

The Kings provides opportunities for players to pursue higher education and help turn their lives around. Our team is comprised of men 18 years and older, from various backgrounds, and who reside in Philadelphia and the surrounding Counties. The purpose of the Organization is to bridge the gap between youth and young adulthood by playing top quality football and positively developing our neighborhoods and communities in Philadelphia and the surrounding Counties. Additionally the organization works to promote the development of leadership, character, sportsmanship, tolerance, discipline, and athletic ability. The Organization will nurture fitness, volunteerism, and a lifelong love of sports in the community. We encourage and help those individuals who do not have a college education to go to or back to school and share in the dream of academic and athletic excellence. The Kings will provide quality family entertainment to our community and stakeholders. Our staff consists of volunteers from Philadelphia and the surrounding counties that want to make a difference in their communities. Through community partnerships and the support of local businesses and organizations, The Kings will achieve its goal of developing into a notable and worthwhile community-enriching program.
