Our organization endeavors to reduce the number of homeless pets by providing affordable spay/neuter.
In 2005 we began providing spay/neuter by means of a mobile unit in several rural and underserved areas in northeast Georgia. By 2011 we had settled in Winder, GA and now offer affordable spay/neuter to residents of Barrow, Jackson and Banks counties.
We offer trap-neuter-return services for community cats in Barrow County and assist colony caretakers with providing food for completed colonies. This program has benefited more than 1,700 cats since it began in 2017.
Our SNIP program provides funding to help those pet owners who cannot afford our regular fees. Approved SNIP applicants can receive free vaccinations and a microchip for their pet as well. Approximately 300 animals receive spay/neuter financial assistance annually with this program.
