Lotus Care House (LCH) works to break the cycle of chronic homelessness through targeted outreach, community collaboration, and adaptive housing interventions.
Lotus Care House is Kansas City’s first housing navigation center focused on providing transitional housing interventions to help people experiencing chronic homelessness to a path into stable, permanent housing. Based on Housing First principles, The Housing Navigation Center is a low barrier, housing-focused alternative to emergency shelter and places emphasis on flexibility, individualized supports, client choice, and autonomy in order to achieve permanent housing.
