Volunteers needed for one day mental health resource fair

We need your help! The Norooz Clinic Foundation is a non-profit mental health clinic located in Santa Ana, CA and we are hosting a one-day free mental health event. The Norooz Clinic Foundation's 8th Unlocking Stigma Fair is a FREE one-day mental health resource event on June 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Norooz Clinic Foundation - parking lot that focuses on educating the public on mental health and making services accessible by connecting everyone to different resources in the community. We will have performances, free food, raffles, and games at the event for all participants. We are looking for volunteers from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM to help set up & break down, check in vendors, play games with participants at our booth, stay at the welcome booth to answer questions, take pictures, post on social media, etc. To help you prepare, we have two volunteer orientation sessions coming up next Tuesday (05/23) at 11:30 AM in person at our office and online at 3:30 PM. You are required to come to at least one volunteer orientation session. Our office is located at 150 Brookhollow Dr. Ste 214 Santa Ana, CA 92705. To appreciate your efforts, we will be giving each volunteer a $5 starbucks gift card as a thank you after the event. Thank you for taking the time out of a Saturday to volunteer at the Norooz Clinic Foundation Unlocking Stigma Fair on June 3rd.

Role Description: Looking for a volunteer who can assist with planning fundraising events or providing support at resource fairs. This is a very flexible role. Looking for dedicated and social individuals ready to make a difference! Availability: Will work with your schedule! Mondays & Tuesdays are in-office support days. Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to participate as an RSVP Volunteer, the candidate must be age 55 or older and complete the RSVP application.
