Description

Since November 21, 2020 the MHF has delivered thousands of pounds of free groceries, kids books and even computers to children and families in Southeast & East Raleigh. The MHF currently makes weekly deliveries to neighborhoods in the following ZIP codes: 27610, 27604 and 27601. All food is distributed via contactless delivery to ensure the safety of our volunteers and recipient families. We've also connected dozens of individuals to partner agencies in the Community Empowerment Coalition for help with employment, housing, mental health, etc. We strive to meet every possible need the kids and families may experience. Additional volunteers will enable us to serve more Wake County children and families living in extreme poverty.
