Mission Statement

It is our mission to empowering people to achieve financial stability that will lead to sustainable communities, by providing an outlet and tools to build successful fulfilling lives that allows them to express themselves in a beneficial manner, we hope to decrease problems of economics deprivation, discrimination, sickness, poverty and crime.

Description

Founded in 2014, we are dedicated to helping underprivileged and under-served residents in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. Tina's Baby has provided service to over 10,000 local residents through our workshops & programs, food distribution, prom gown giveaway, homeless outreach, community cleanups and coat and toy giveaway. We are also a host site for the MBSYEP, training youth from the age of 13 to 24 through our Creative Expression Lore & Life Skills (C.E.L.L.S) program which is a career development training that uses an art based curriculum. It is our goal is to provide residents with resources for cultural and economic development and also provide an outlet for our youth to express themselves in a beneficial manner. Other programs we offer are Healthy Eating Cooking Class, Weight Loss Training, Small Group Sessions, Safety and Health Training and Sustainable Development Program. We are also an alumni of 202Creates Creative Entrepreneur Residency program.
