Mission Statement
Kickin' It with the Cows 5K/10K Walk/Run is devoted to bringing our communities together to give hope and support to children and families facing extreme medical challenges.
Description
Our 6th annual event will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 in Wrightstown, WI. It was started by a group of dairy farmers, hence the name, who wanted to give something back to the community. We donated to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for the first 3 years, then we decided to change to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We have a dedicated volunteer planning committee and an amazing team of sponsors. Our event is family-oriented with a Kids' Run in addition to the 5K and 10K. We have a Fun Family Festival after the race with snacks, ice cream. games, and calves to pet. It is a very fun morning! We had 526 participants last year and we hope to have more this year as we have expanded our advertising.
