Mission Statement

The primary objective of the club shall be to: (a) Create, provide and maintain a social group or club incidental and auxiliary to the movement of Alcoholics Anonymous; (b) Stimulate, encourage, aid and assist such movement in providing physical facilities to its members for the use in attaining and maintaining sobriety; and (c) Provide a meeting place or places for the members of such a social club in the promotion and achievement of its purpose.

Description

Founded in 1969, the North Shores Alano Club (NSAC) in Pacific Beach, CA services as a safe and welcoming gathering place for people to begin and grow their life in recovery from alcohol and drug addition. For more than 50 years, the club's active fellowship has helped thousands of men and women from all walks of life thrive in sobriety. Today, the club hosts more than 35 Alcoholics Anonymous meeting per week, and is located just blocks from San Diego's beautiful beaches.

In addition to a variety of open and closed meetings to men and women and the LGBTQ+ community, NSAC is also a comfortable social club used for a variety of individual and group purposes.

NSAC is a non-profit 501c3 that relies on volunteers, membership, donations and rent from meetings and sober living to pay for operating costs.
