This person should feel comfortable and have experience with: Find, pitch, sell and secure sponsorship opportunities Develop, refine and maintain a pipeline of Fortune 500 client relationships Research prospects and industries Develop prospect list with Executive Director Generate and arrange meetings with brands though networking, cold calling and other methods of canvassing Develop detailed sponsorship decks with activation ideas and concepts for brands Lead internal teams in preparation for meetings Pitch sponsorship and marketing partnerships Manage accounts through Wix Collaborate with internal departments to discover opportunities and advise how to maximize relationships sales and success in meeting sales goals Serve as on-site contact for shows during events Google Suite Additional responsibilities will include cold calling, conducting research, developing presentations PASSION, borderline obsession for art & live events Charisma! A natural ability to sell, negotiate and build strong relationships - both externally with clients and internally within the organization Prior sponsorship sales experience preferred

We are looking for an events photographer who is interested in taking pictures for important or specific AG gatherings such as parties, shows, and events. They must assist with the event setup and provide excellent customer service to ensure that things will run smoothly before, during, and after the event. Use traditional and digital cameras, along with a variety of equipment such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments. Plan ahead with the organizers in order to cover the whole event, and are in charge of their social media stories. Add to the collection of promotional photos that the school uses for print, digital, and web communication. Maintaining and managing photography equipment Editing photos Submitting photos to appropriate persons Possible live interviewing of artists and attendees at events. (red carpet style) Uploading images to promote future events and working with AG interns to collaborate on Marketing for future events.

Volunteer Opening: GALLERY ATTENDANT Gallery Attendants are part-time, hourly volunteers, and are supervised by the Executive Director of Avante Garde, Amanda Corrales. Gallery Attendants work primarily Tuesday through Saturday, plus special events after museum hours. Gallery Attendants also work during museum special events and activities, such as school tours. Gallery Attendants, together with other museum staff: * make sure the art is kept safe * help visitors have safe, enjoyable museum visits * prepare the facilities for visitors, usually by setting up and breaking down furniture * help keep the museum clean Art Safety: Gallery Attendants work primarily in the galleries where the art is exhibited. Gallery Attendants are trained on how to keep the art safe from damage and are also responsible for assisting in ensuring the safety of the museum’s visitors. Gallery Attendants MUST understand, enforce and follow art safety rules, all the time. Failure to follow art safety rules will result in immediate dismissal. Visitors: Gallery Attendants are the "front line" in meeting visitors. Gallery Attendants interact with visitors, assist with retail sales (cash register, other), and otherwise help visitors have enjoyable museum visits. Facilities and Cleanliness: Gallery Attendants perform "opening" and "closing" procedures to make sure the art is safe, the facilities are fully prepared, and the museum and grounds are clean. Gallery Attendants move chairs, tables, and others to help prepare the museum for visitor activities. Failure to perform all required duties may result in termination. Gallery Attendants will also assist with some other museum business, including but not limited to: preparing the art galleries (moving art, painting walls, other); working some off-site events, such as the annual Pearls of Art Gala; assisting with education programs; other museum business as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * To perform art and museum security tasks, must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, and must be able to maintain visual surveillance of visitors and museum guests. * Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. (artwork, furniture, other), climb stairs and ladders, paint walls and trim, and use other tools for preparing the galleries and installing art objects. * Computer-literate; ability to learn specialized applications as needed (HVAC, security, retail, donor database, other). * Attention to detail, ability to work independently, to multitask in busy museum; excellent interpersonal skills. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Gallery Attendants work primarily nights and weekends; some holiday hours required, some hours on an irregular or unplanned basis. You will submit a statement of work availability as part of the application process. Valid Texas driver’s license required (may be obtained within 60 days of employment); some driving in a personal vehicle may be required. Must adhere to Gallery Attendant dress code as directed by the Operations Manager. Failure to follow and enforce art safety rules will result in immediate termination.
