This organization is organized exclusively for the charitable purpose of assisting low income people with veterinarian care and providing food for their pets within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Peanut Fund provides assistance, aid, and relief for pets in low income families to eradicate the risk of euthanasia and homelessness via veterinary care and pet food decreasing the growing abandoned pet population in government funded shelters.
Primary Program - to provide small dollar ($50-200) for urgent pet health care. A questionnaire and ranking system is currently being developed. We will need to see a treatment plan and will pay the veterinarian directly. Information for additional fundraising ideas and options will be provided to all that contact us. The dollar amount may be higher dependent on community support.
