Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, a Community Beautification and Improvement Project (CBAIP), is seeking an organized and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and supporting our wonderful volunteers as they work together to improve and beautify our community. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract diverse and committed individuals to our organization Conduct volunteer orientations and provide ongoing support, training, and resources to volunteers Maintain a database of volunteer information, including skills, interests, and availability Coordinate volunteer assignments for various projects and events, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Monitor volunteer engagement and satisfaction, and identify opportunities for improvement or recognition Attend regular meetings with the organization's leadership to provide updates on volunteer activities and progress Assist with the planning and execution of volunteer appreciation events and activities Qualifications: Passion for community improvement and nonprofit work Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in volunteer management, human resources, or a related field is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Develop valuable skills in volunteer management, nonprofit administration, and community engagement Expand your professional network by connecting with other passionate volunteers and community members Gain the satisfaction of making a tangible impact on Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful's mission and goals Opportunities for leadership and growth within the organization This is a virtual position with occasional in-person meetings or events, allowing for flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. As a community-driven organization with 1.5 years of experience, we are focused on supporting and enhancing our community and the surrounding area through a variety of projects and initiatives.
