Great volunteer opportunity for kids, teens, retired, groups or really anyone! Help us celebrate children in need. Box of Balloons is on a mission to make each birthday happy and every child celebrated. We partner with community social workers to help give birthday parties-in-a-box to children in need, who would not otherwise be celebrated. Birthday boxes are customized for the child and include: Tableware - plates, napkins, cups, tablecloth (for 8-10 guests) Decor - streamers, curling ribbon, balloons, tape Party favors & Party game/activity (for up to 6 kids) Cupcakes - we can only use store bought at this time, one dozen, with candles DIY - personalized decorations, birthday cards, party games Gift - birthday gift for child, gift bag and tissue paper, blank birthday card Our volunteers can help in many ways, as much or as little as you can, and for lots of different budgets. Some ways to help: Build a whole box (contents only, we provide the box), Sign up for one or two items in a box, Donate party supplies such as tableware, gift bags, balloons, tape, Donate your time to help deliver boxes, Have your older teen drivers volunteer with us for volunteer hours needed for high school graduation, Make DIY banners, party games, homemade birthday cards, print free coloring sheets from the internet, decorate the actual box, or assemble party favors bags. We can supply all the materials.

Great volunteer opportunity for anyone with good administrative skills! Box of Balloons is on a mission to make each birthday happy and every child celebrated. We partner with community social workers to help give birthday parties-in-a-box to children in need, who would not otherwise be celebrated. Our Denver chapter is growing and we need volunteers to help us manage our administrative tasks like set up new contacts, make a monthly SignUpGenius or Amazon idea list, helping send thank you emails to our volunteers. This is a regular volunteer need, and will require about 1 to 2 hours a week.
