Deliver emergency rescue services temporarily in dangerous zones where animals are in serious danger.

Description

Red Shed is an animal welfare organisation that exists to fulfill a growing need of animal displacement due to war, climate change and other extreme circumstances.

It was set up in Dublin, Ireland by Sandy Sheerin who envisioned The Red Shed as a place where sick, neglected, homeless and refugee animals could be initially homed, rehabiliated and cared for.

Multiple Red Sheds are forecasted to be built over the next 5 years where animals are endangered or displaced.

Red Shed's goals are:
- To become synonymous with emergency Red Sheds where conflict or extreme circumstances emerge that is harmful to local animals.
- To create Red Sheds in areas where local communities can benefit from the care given to animals.
- To educate, inform and raise awareness to the general public on the work carried out in emergency rescue services for animals.

Red Shed Programs:
2022 - Voluntary Programs to help rebuild or restructure existing animal welfare shelters in areas where shelters are underfunded and in substandard condition. (Particular focus on Ukrainian border shelters and Ukraine)
2023 - 2025 - Build new Red Sheds across various countries where turmoil has emerged and the livelihoods and survival of animals is at great risk.
