Neighborhood Captains communicate the needs of Midlands Orphan Relief (MOR) to their local communities and act as donation drop-off points. They commit to driving donated items to MOR’s main Distribution Center as needed. There is no major commitment required. There are many folks who cannot bring their donations over during business hours, so Neighborhood Captains serve as drop-off points for those who cannot bring their donations to MOR themselves. They do commit to transporting these items to MOR's Distribution Center, but this can be done at your convenience. Neighborhood Captains are a critical part of MOR's mission. They communicate our most critical needs with the surrounding community and create an opportunity for community members to donate to MOR regardless of their schedule. For any questions regarding MOR's Neighborhood Captain program, please contact Kate Long at Kate@LORKids.org.
