The mission of beYOUtiful Inc. is to assist at risk teenage girls between the ages of 10-19 to develop into strong, sophisticated, goal-oriented young women. We reach this goal by focusing on various topics based on self-love and self-worth through mentoring, training, and hands on programs with hopes of giving girls a foundation for a healthy and strong future.
beYOUtiful Inc. provides support services to low income and at-risk teenage girls between the ages of 11-19 in North Carolina. In addition to providing mentoring services, beYOUtiful Inc.’s two locations offer comprehensive case management, counseling and crisis intervention, life skill training and workshops, resources and referrals, education and college prep, job training and support groups in an effort to break the cycle of low self-esteem, bullying, and suicide by addressing its root causes. beYOUtiful Inc. serves over 300 individuals annually.
The beYOU Girl Mentoring Program serves between 40-60 low income and at-risk teenage girls residing in several communities within Hertford, Northampton, Bertie and Wake counties in North Carolina. The program provides self-esteem and confidence building, academic assistance, youth development, supplementary activities, and social work services. Services and activities include tutoring, internet access, informational workshops and active discussions, college and high school preparation, job training, STEM activities, and Literacy Intervention.
