Want to take your activism up a notch and save animals like it’s your job? If you’re eligible and accepted, you can become a Students Opposing Speciesism (SOS) campus rep-and get paid $60 for each protest or outreach event that you host on your campus. We’ll provide all the materials that you need for free, and you’ll be paired with an SOS staff member, who will help guide your events, advise on hub management, and develop strategies for your campaigns to advance the cause of animal liberation. We’re looking for college students, ages 18 to 25, who are currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college program in the U.S. (excluding students in California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, Oregon, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, or Washington -who are unfortunately not eligible due to state laws). Apply here today! https://sos.peta.org/campusrep/ If any of these eligibility details don’t apply to you but you still want to get serious about fighting speciesism, become an SOS organizer or join SOS as a member. Adding your experience as an SOS organizer to your résumé demonstrates your dedication and passion for what you believe in, and it lets future employers know that you’re a hard worker (even in your free time). We can also sign off on service hours when you work with us to organize events. Just get in touch by e-mailing us at SOS@peta.org.
