Charter Hospice provides quality care for our patients who are at the end of their lives. We have an interdisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, and volunteers. Our volunteers provide direct quality time with our patients, their families and caregivers. Our volunteers offer socialization, caregiver relief, and most of all, a listening ear. To be present with a dying person is powerful. The families are profoundly grateful for your time and attention. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting experience in the medical, social services or spiritual fields and especially with the elderly.
