Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist in meeting the needs in the Richmond VA and surrounding areas. We strive to end the physical and emotional hunger of families in our communities in a dignified manner. Our comprehensive approach not only alleviates hunger with nutritional food, but also provides emotional support services, hygiene bags and other resources such as housing, financial counseling and planning. We serve each client and host each volunteer with grace and dignity and without regard to race, creed, religion, income or perceived need.

Description

We have been providing help to many families in the Richmond, VA area since 2002. We partner with FeedMore, Feed the Children, GoldStar Foods, Panera Bread, Food Lion, Geovanni's Pizza, Popeyes Chicken, Olive Garden, VCU, The United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots and other companies to fulfill the needs in the community. Our food pantry operates Tuesdays and Thursdays, clients are able to come weekly to pick up food and other necessities that are available. Once a month we feed at Safe Haven Shelter and also feed the homeless hot meals in the community. During the winter months we Provide Thanksgiving meals, Christmas holiday we provide toys and food to families in need.
