Project of Arkansas honors the life and legacy of Maya Angelou, extolling her creativity, social consciousness, and inclusion through our work with Arkansas youth and communities through encouraging literacy, art, poetry and history as the seeds that create dreams, uplift young voices and inspire success.
Description
The Celebrate! Maya Project continues to promote the life, contributions and history of Dr. Angelou. We partner with Arkansas schools, communities, and other nonprofit organizations to take the humanities, arts, hunger alleviation and sustainable gardening into the Little Rock, AE schools and communities.
